Tom is a pioneering insurance executive with over 50 years of experience in the retail insurance industry. As the principal of McManamon Insurance, a Cleveland-based agency, Tom started his insurance career in his father’s agency in 1970. Tom has led the firm with a commitment to innovation, community service, and inclusive coverage.
Recognizing a critical gap in the market, Tom founded the first LGBTQ+ insurance agency in the United States, Community Partners Insurance Group in 2023, addressing the underserved needs of personal and small commercial lines within the LGBTQ+ community. His visionary leadership has not only expanded access to essential coverage but also set a precedent for inclusivity in the insurance sector.
Although separate business entities, under Tom’s guidance, both Community Partners Insurance Group and McManamon Insurance continue to thrive, blending decades of trusted service with forward-thinking solutions that reflect the evolving needs of its clients.
When not working at the firm, Tom has had the distinction of serving on Cleveland community boards for well over 40 years including as the former executive director of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Tom has been married to his wife Jackie for more than 50 years. They have three children: Kim, TJ, and Patrick, plus they are the proud grandparents of 8 beautiful children.

Cody is an insurance professional in Chicago focusing on risks in the LGBTQ+ and non-profit spaces as an insurance Sales Advisor for Community Partners Insurance Group. Bringing a decade of experience in both spaces, he looks to build communities, support their growth, and protect them when the worst happens. Whether on the streets with The Night Ministry, in an office at GEICO, or now at Community Partners Insurance Group, Cody has always aimed to relieve worries and focus on (re)building. By listening and understanding the struggles facing a person or organization, he's better able to address their needs and find a way forward. By continually growing his own professional knowledge, he is always looking for new and creative solutions to life's risk-related problems.
In his free time, he is an avid reader and continues to support his community through anthropological research to amplify marginalized voices, providing mentorship to incoming university students, and providing insurance education to struggling youths.
